These are handy and easy to install chain tensioners. You need some sort of tension system and these are better than the ones you generally get with a set of chains (usually you just get a rubber ring with hooks on it). If you old tensioners are toast, or you chains didn't come with tensioners, these are a fantastic choice. Easy to stash and easy to install. Just be sure to get the right size as the length of the individual arms is critical.

I mean, they seem pretty tough and strong. I mounted my snow chains and used these to tighten them and they were tight and seemed like they weren't moving. Of course if I can help I will never need to use my snow chains if I can help it, but if I did have to I don't think they'll slip because of these things.

I have had after market HID lights for about 4 years now on my 1999 Audi A4 and I was always having a problem with my driver side headlight flickering then turning off. I originally thought it was a wiring or ballast problem because the passenger side rarely flickered. I was just about to order another ballast when I came across these and decided to give them a try. As soon as i installed them the flickering went away!!!

For anyone having this problem this is a very simple and cheap fix. If you have a kensun hid kit already these are plug and play and will only take a few minutes to install. The only down side is that you have another part to mount/hide somewhere, but its well worth it when you dont have to spend time messing with connections to try and stop the flickering.
